But when Dave was here and gone by 9am, we had a whole day ahead of us for something fun. I had heard great things about Amazement Square, a children's museum, in Lynchburg. So when Josh suggested going to Lynchburg for the day, I suggested we check out the museum. Boy are we glad we did! For $9 a person, we had hours of fun...yes, WE! I'm pretty sure Josh and I had just as much fun as Noah!
And the fun began before we even stepped foot inside Amazement Square. We packed lunch and had a picnic by the river and railroad tracks right by the parking lot.
Then we got to watch a real live train go by...a truly amazing thing to Noah!
Then it was tons of fun in the four floors of exhibits at Amazement Square!
I highly suggest his place! And there is tons to keep older kids engaged too. There's a whole climbing tower made up of tunnels, slides, ladders, zip lines and nets that spans all four floors! What a fun family day!
What are some of your favorite family fun places?
Everett loves the Children's Museum of Richmond! There are 2 locations - we go to the Short Pump one and it's great!
