There are lots of things we want to remember from Noah's first month:
- Noah sneezes...a lot! And it's usually in threes. And it is really really cute!
- Noah has really ticklish feet.
- Noah's feet are so big that the nurse messed up his first footprints because they covered up a lot of the words on the page!
- As I mentioned before, when Noah was born and put on my chest, the first thing he did was grab my cross necklace in his little hand.
- In a summer full of drought, it rained all day and night on Noah's birthday. And no, that is not the reason we named him Noah. We had the name picked out long before.
- When Noah was only 2 days old, he was already lifting his head up on his own! Now he is also pushing up with his feet as well. Strong boy!
- From day one, Noah has been grabbing onto our fingers.
- Noah has the cutest little pouty lips. Josh says I make the same face. :)
- We've learned not to get ourselves or little bit dressed in anything we are set on wearing for the day until right before leaving the house...otherwise it gets covered in spit up or sometimes pee before we can leave.
- Noah loves anything that sounds like white noise so we now sleep with a sound machine on. We discovered this one day when he was fussy and a grounds guy outside came by the living room window with a leaf blower. Noah calmed right down and stopped crying and turned his head toward the noise!
- We've got a chunky monkey! Noah was 9 pounds 1.6 ounces when he was born. At his 2 week check up he was 9 pounds 14 ounces. Today at his one month appointment he weighs 11 pounds 8 ounces!
- Noah gets a little congested and then sounds like a baby pug pup when he sleeps.
- Noah has the most precious dimples ever! One on each cheek. They only show up when he smiles...he currently only smiles when he has gas haha. It is still really cute!
- I'm really enjoying cloth diapering!
Then we took his first pictures with his super snazzy month-by-month bow tie!
