It's been a little bit since I posted an update. We've been experimenting with different lengths of times between updates to see about reader stats. I think the daily updates was getting a bit overwhelming for folks. Maybe we'll settle in with something on the more weekly level.
Read on for a list of things that have happened since we spoke last.
Here's what's been going on in our world:
- Noah is back to sleeping well. He's in love with a little stuffed Winnie the Pooh and has to make sure that Pooh is tucked in just right every night. Yes, it is just about as cute as you are picturing it in your head right now.
- Our first home as a married couple got destroyed. The residence hall we started out in is being demolished for a future construction project. Although we've had time to prepare emotionally for it, this has hit my hard. I managed that building for three years. Friendships were built there. Staffs were mentored there. Family was started there. After our wedding, our dear friends moved our wedding gifts into that building despite the no AC in the summer. I mean...it was home even if it was falling apart at the seams.
- Lyndsie made it through her 60 day challenge and did amazing. For those of you who haven't seen the other posts, she's had phenomenal results from her at-home working out and has even started coaching on the side. She's running a challenge of her own!
- Misc: There have been weddings, conferences, summits, work, work, and more work in between. I'll spare you the hum drum and just say this...we've been keeping busy!
You see where Pooh ranks after Noah actually falls asleep. |
If you look closely, you can see that construction vehicle crushing my memories. |
Edit: My astute wife noticed that I originally stated that I managed the Cunninghams for three months. Clearly, it was a bit longer than that. I managed that section of campus for three years, not three months.
Aw I hope the wedding wasn't hum drum. Sorry we didn't get to see you.
ReplyDeleteNot hum drum at all! It was the other items that were hummy and drummy.
